When you are trying to create a custom color scheme in MetaTrader 5, you will first need to access the Properties window. There, you will find a number of color options that relate to different elements in your chart. To change the color of a particular element, click the drop-down menu and choose a new color.

You will also want to customize the color of the level of open trades on your chart. The default color for these levels is green, but you can change them to another color. You can also customize the background color of the chart. If you are unsure of what you want, you can uncheck the option Show trade levels in the Options menu.
